5 Things I Learned in Catholic Schools

In celebration of Catholic Schools Week, Fr. William Byrne of the Archdiocese of Washington writes about what he learned from his Catholic education. We appreciate his shout-out in number 2:

2) You are not the center of the universe. When during Lent we collected coins for Operation Rice Bowl, the picture of the kid on the side of the box reminded me how blessed I am and that the world is a big place. I learned that I need to help.
