Growing up in Detroit, Michigan, Kris Ozar was raised to value service to the poor as a way of life and a possible calling. In college, after traveling to Honduras where he first saw how poverty hurts people – lack of clean water, education, and food – he knew he could use his life to make a difference for others. Today Kris is head of programming for CRS in the West African nation of Ghana.
