CRS World Report: The World’s Only Fair Trade Chocolate Company Co-Owned by Farmers

Because of the world’s craving for chocolate, cocoa can be a good crop for family farmers in Ghana, especially if they are members of the Kuapa Kokoo Cooperative.   Members co-own Divine Chocolate — the only fair trade chocolate company owned by cocoa farmers — which gives farmers a fair deal and a share of Divine Chocolate’s profits.
