CRS did not use the threat of ending a printing contract to silence critics, as alleged in a recent article by LifeSiteNews. On the contrary, CRS was aware attacks would be forthcoming once we did not renew the contract with AKA Printing and Mailing, which is owned by the Brown family and is closely associated with American Life League (ALL). That decision was taken in light of many issues, including business processes and the attacks ALL has made against CRS and other Catholic Social Ministries.
